Busy Bee Class
The Busy Bee Room is a certified New Mexico Pre-K classroom for children ages 4-5 with a capacity of 20 children.
A message from Busy Bees Lead Teacher, Allison Holman:
“Welcome to the Busy Bee Classroom! This is a place where children are safe, seen, and celebrated while learning through play, curiosity, and their own interests. We lead with kindness, laughter, and love, building consistent routines, and clear expectations that help children feel confident and secure. Each day we explore, create problem solve and grow together while developing independence, social skills, and a strong foundation to prepare our preschoolers for their next year of learning. We value open communication and partnership with families because children thrive when we work together. We're a team - kids, families, and teacher - and we can't wait for the adventures each year brings! "
The New Mexico PreK Program is a voluntary program created by the Pre-Kindergarten Act of 2005 and jointly administered by the New Mexico Children Youth and Families Department and the Public Education Department. The objective of PreK is to ensure that every child in New Mexico has the opportunity to attend a high quality early childhood education program before entering kindergarten.
The students and their four teachers engage in meaningful learning activities, both indoors and outdoors. While the children view these activities as play, the teachers are preparing them with the skills they need for success when they move to kindergarten.
